Discover Delhi by foot on a heritage walking tour and witness the beauty of the Taj Mahal at sunrise. Enter the heart of India, Madhya Pradesh, stopping at the sleepy temple town of Orchha. Also ‘City of Lakes’, Bhopal, the only city in India ruled by begums (female Muslim rulers). Observe pre-historic rock paintings in Bhimbetka.

TOUR PROGRAM

DAY 1 ARRIVE DELHI - GWALIOR (BY INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT/ TRAIN)

Upon arrival at Delhi’s international airport, you will be transferred to the railway station to board your train to Gwalior by Shatabdi Express. Upon arrival check-in at the hotel. Later we proceed for the sightseeing which includes the visit to the huge fort of Gwalior.

Morning drive to Shivpuri. Check-in at the hotel and proceed for the sightseeing.

Drive straight to Orchha and check-in the hotel. Move out for the sightseeing of Orchha which includes temples and palaces of 16th century.

Morning drive to Khajuraho. Upon arrival check-in at the hotel. Later proceed for sightseeing tour of the city visiting Eastern & Western Temples. Overnight at the hotel.

Morning drive to Bhopal. Check in your hotel. Evening proceed for short city tour of this “City of Lakes”.

Full day excursion to Sanchi & Udaigiri caves. Excursions to Sanchi and witness the masterpieces of Budhist Art which speaks of the story of Emperor Ashoka’s becoming follower of Buddhism.

Excursion to Bhojpur Temples & Bhimbetka rock shelters.

Drive to Indore enroute visiting the holy city of Ujjain. We visit the historical sacred temples and experience the spiritual essence of the place. Check-in at the hotel.

Drive to Mandu via Omkareshwar & Maheshwar. Check-in at the hotel.

After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing tour of the city.

Morning drive to Aurangabad enroute visiting Ajanta caves. Check in at the hotel.

Excursion to Ellora caves & Daulatabad. Evening board flight for Mumbai. From there you will board your international flight back home.
